I am planning to go to Shenyang but here in malaysia, only one airline, Airasia is affordable enough. But the thing is, Airasia only flies up to Tianjin (beijing). I was thinking how much would it cost to travel by air/train from Beijing to Shenyang? Would it be better if i try to book an airline that flies from Kuala Lumpur to Shenyang or how? Pls advise. Thanks

There are some direct D trains from Beijing to Shenyang (D1,D3,D5, D7 and D9).The first class soft seat costs around 260 CNY or 38 USD and the second class soft seat costs 217 CNY or 32 USD. BTW, you need to spend about 4 hours on the train before you get to Shenyang. The airfare might vary a little according to your travel date. I just checked and found out that the airfare on Jan 22 cost at least 113 USD or 770 CNY, which included Domestic airport construction fee (airport tax).By the way, I didn’t find any flights from Kuala Lumpur to Shenyang.
