I am a Cameroonian presently in China and i would like to know more about the CEMAC passport issue. I went online this afternoon insearch of a number at the embassy in Beijing but all the numbers i called, no one picked up.    I also recieved an email that the expiration date of the old passport has been extended till March from a friend in the USA.  How can we get more information about this and i hear there is a fixed price for that so we don't have to go through agents. How much will it cost in RMB to get the CEMAC passport and what is the contact number of Cameroon embassy in Beijing? I am desperate here.  Appreciate your help

Mr. Eric Amene, I have checked the contact information listed on this website, it is right, but the consular officials are bureaucrat, they often don't pick up the telephone. As for the CEMAC passport, Equatorial Guinea has agreed to the use of the passport of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central African States (CEMAC), APA learned Thursday in Malabo from sources close to Prime Minister Ignacio Milam Ntang’s office.Like Gabon, Equatorial Guinea was rather hostile to the CEMAC passport which must come into effect on January 1st, 2010 the latest.Equatorial Guinea toughened the conditions of entry on its territory since it became an oil-producer.Besides, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema said he can only accommodate foreigners who bring their know-how and not likely unemployed people, accused of fueling insecurity and entertaining prostitution networks in the country.The CEMAC passport must help the integration and freedom of movement of people and goods in the CEMAC space: Cameroon, Congo, Central African Republic, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Chad.
