About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

hi, I just have some queries and clarification. I have an Afghan friend and he is now here in Dubai, UAE but just on visit visa. He wants to go to china on Business purposes but he's not a UAE residents. HOw and what are the procedures? PLs help..I heard that he has to avail of Invitation first before having a China Visa and he has to go back to his country and show them the Invitation and apply there inAfghan Embassy for the China Visa. IS it like that? Thank you in advance..

Yes, he can't apply for Chinese visa in Dubai because non-GCC applicants are not accepted by Chinese consulate in Dubai. GCC applicants also should hold a UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months if they want to apply to apply for Chinese visa in Dubai. Your friend needs an invitation from CHINA with a copy of the inviter's license, and apply for Business visa at Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan.
