About:Beijing Train

I am thinking of taking a train from Beijing to Shanghai (in July). What is the differences between the trains, rates, and cabins? I know myself and my husband will have a few large bags with us also (probably 4). Can we bring them on the train or do we have to do anything special with them? Do you recommend that my husband and I get a private cabin for the over-night ride? Any help would be great!

I think it is more convenient to take a train; you could buy soft sleeper tickets. Here is a very informative page for your reference; you could get all the train information you need, like price, cabin type, timetable, Baggage Allowance.
