About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Hi,my daughter is visiting us in Shenyang and is on a 6 month L multiple visa. we have just returned from Seoul on hols and she has another 34 days until she leaves on 7 Feb. The travel agent in OZ advised that she could stay for 6 months as the visa is 6 months but on arrival found out that she has to leave every 30 days. Therefore my question is does she need to leave China again in the next 30 days and come back in for the last few days? Shenyang says that they cannot extend visa as done in Australia. Is there anywhere in Beijing that you can extend visas for a short time. Thanks for your help

I think that you can go to Exit & Enter Department of Shenyang Public Security Bureau to change her visa for a longer stay, but she can't use this visa to enter China later because the multiple entries have been cancelled. Otherwise, she has to exit China when the 30 days of each stay is up.
