About:China Visa on Arrival

Dear sir,

I am a Singaporean.
I need to be in Shanghai from Early Jan to End of Feb, which exceeds the allowed 15 days that my Singapore passport allows. Is it possible for me to obtain a Visa-on arrival visa(multiple entry for 6 months) on the day I arrive?

I want to make a Visa, but I am on business in Cologne Germany and because of this festive period do not have time to get my Visa done before going to Shanghai. Appreciate your advice.

If I can get my Visa done instantly at the Chinese Embassy in Frankfurt within a day, please kindly let me know and I will take a day off to rush there and get it done. I tried calling all day today and could not reach anyone.

Thank you
Ian

Thanks Mr JohnNash! I have another question, other than the applciation form/2X2 in photo passport with valid for at least 6 months beyond date of application, there was this conformation letter written on the website for requirements. I understood that as a letter from my company informing the authorities that that I need to visit Shanghai for business for the amount of time(less than 6 months) I
need to be there. Is my understanding correct? your advice is very appreciated!
Last but not least just need to confirm 1 more time, I can get the 6 month multiple entry visa on arrival?

Thanks!

so without that conformation letter, I will not be able to apply for the visa I need at visa for arrival or at the Chinese Embassy in Frankfurt?

Your understanding for the Visa conformation letter is not correct, you should get the letter issued by an Chinese economic and trade bureau or a foreign affairs office of the provincial or municipal government rather than your company. Your cooperate company in Shanghai should apply for the visa confirmation letter for you.
