About:

Hi & Warm Greetings from Kuala Lumpur,

1. My flight from KL arrives Shanghai at 6.45 am on a Sunday morning. Will exit Airport by 7.15 am after clearing Immigration without Luggage, hopefully.

2. I need to catch a 8.30 am Train to Wenzhou from South Railway Station and have to find the FASTEST way to reach the Station from Airport. Therefore i have exactly one hour between 7.15am to arrive at South Station by 8.15am to buy the Train Ticket for the 8.30 am Train.

3. I have 3 choices of taking :

a. Airport Line 7 direct to South Station - only Rmb 20, ( does it take One Hour to arrive ? )

b. Airport Maglev to Longyang and change to Metro 2 to Zhongshan & interchange to Metro 3 to South Station - only Rmb 8, ( also takes One Hour to go through 17 Stops between the 2 Lines )

c. Taxi from Longyang direct to South Station - Rmb ??. ( how long is the ride in the City on a Sunday Morning at 8am - hopefully no traffic jam so early ?? and how much is the estimated Taxi Fare ?)

4. Lastly, in case i have to take the Subway, please advise the direction to transfer between the two Lines as the Stations are far apart :

a. between Metro 2 from Longyang to Metro 1 at People Square , AND

b. between Metro 2 from Longyang to Metro 3 at Zhongshan, and

c. advise which of the above two Options is better & faster becos i understand we have to go Up & Down the building or get out of the building to interchange between the 2 Lines and i have no time to waste to ask around to find the way out & in again ??

Thank You very much.

It is sorry to say that you will miss the train at 08:30 no matter what kind of transport to take.

At the Pudong Airport, you have to accept H1N1 check and then go through the immigration currently. It will take you about 45 minutes. Then, you have to walk to the bus station, which will take you about 5~10 minutes.

So, it is supposed that you could catch the shuttle bus Line 7 at 08:15. It will take you to the south railway station in 50 minutes around 09:00. (sometimes hiring a taxi at Pudong is less covenient than taking a bus). Then, you have to walk to the ticket hall to purchase a ticket, at least 20~30 minutes is required especially during weekend.

By this way, if you are lucky, you could catch the bullet train D3107 departing to Wenzhou at 10:50.
