hi!
i arrive in shanghai on 24th december and travel by train to hangzhou on the next day.please advise me on where to buy tickets and take the train.can i buy tickets before shanghai arrival when i am still in singapore?

You should go to Shanghai South Railway Station to take a train to Hangzhou. Well, I think you could purchase the ticket on the spot or on 24th when you arrive in Shanghai. No need to book on in advance, and the railway station doesn't support ticket booking online currently.
