About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I will be on a cruise ship stopping for less than 10 hours each at the ports of Xingang, Dalian and Qingdao.
Will I need a visa?

I don't think you need a visa, the cruise ship will arrage for all visitor and you can call the cruise company to get a assuring answer.

All US passport holders need VISA, regardless of duration.
