About:Chinese Embassy in Myanmar

Dear Sir/ Madam

I am Dr. Tun Min Aung, a Myanmar national, now I stay in UK with visit visa valid until 15, May 2010. I am in UK for royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh (ophthalmology) examination. I would like to sit the examination in Hong Kong in March, 2010 and duration will be just about 3 to 5 days.

My wife have a job in UK as a staff grade eye specialist.

Can I apply Hong Kong visa while I am in the UK or do I need to come back to Myanmar? I would like to know necessary documents and the type of visa I should apply for.

I would like to know that how many days should I take to get Hong Kong Visa?
Looking forward your kind reply.
Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Dr. Tun Min Aung

I think that you can apply for Hk visa in Hk, you can have a try, if you are denied, you can send application directly to Immigration Department of Hk Government by post, however, it takes about 4 weeks.
