hi i arriving shanghai on 24th deci want to go to wenzhou by train .

Question

Hi I arriving Shanghai on 24th Dec and I want to go to Wenzhou by train .Will I get the train tickets for soft sleeper same day or i should rest one day in hotel travel next day? Also will I face Christmas rush on 25th Dec? Can you please guide me how to travel Shanghai to Wenzhou

There are 8 bullet trains departing from Shanghai South Railway Station to Wenzhou everyday, taking about 4.5~5 hours on the way. I think you could purchase a hard-seat ticket easily on the spot. No need to purchase a soft sleeper. Christmas is not a traditional festival in China, so there will not be crowded travelers on Dec 25.
