About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

dear sirs, i am coming from dubai, stay less than 48 hours in shanghai and leaving again to dubai. since this is not really a transit do i need a visa to leave the airport? also i am leaving at 6 am back to dubai but i see there is no maglev or bus in duty so early in the morning. what is the best option to come from city center back to pudong airport in the night and how much time i have to calculate for that? or is it better to take a hotel near the airport and do my sightseeing during the day? thanks and best regards maik

German passport?! If so, you do not need a visa and can get out of the airport to the city center. The best way is to getting back by airport bus if you do not want to take a taxi, but I have no idea where you are going to leave from the city center, and how late at night?!

thanks mr sandy, my flight will leave 6.30 in the morning so there is no airportbus. i will stay at the bund near broadway mansions. maybe taxi is the only option cause i think i have to leave the hotel before 3am. thanks and best regards
