Hello! This will be my first trip with my family to Guangzhou. Will it be very cold now? I will be going around end of December. And where can we find suitable shopping destinations that sell branded clothes for my teenage childrenLastly, any recommended hotels near the town area that is convenient?

There is no chilly days in Guangzhou in Dec. The weather will be warm and comfortable for traveling then. At any department stores, you could find these branded clothes both for adult and child. I think you could book a hotel close to the Haizhu Square, where good shopping plaza could be found.
