Question

We will be arriving in Shenzhen from Sinagapore.  We are holders of Philippine passport.   Can we get our China visa in Shenzhen or do we need to have it before reaching Shenzhen?   Also we will be going to Hongkong and again back to Shenzhen to fly back to Sinagapore before going back to the Philppines.  Can we get our China visa in the hongkong-Shenzhen border when we get back from Hongkong so that we only get single entry visa initially.  Thank you for your reply.

Currently, travelers could apply for a Port Visa at the ports between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. However, this visa just allow you to stay in the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen, where the Shenzhen Airport is not located. So, if you have to transfer at Shenzhen Airport, you'd better apply for a China visa before leaving for China.
