About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

hi..

Im a teacher here in china for a year now..i had a working visa but it was expired last nov.13 ..i extended it for a month for me to stay and look for a potential employer .. so now i got a tourist visa which is valid until dec. 12.. i found a school in jiangsu province my employer will help me process my visa but due to restrictions i need to go back home for authentication process and apply my working visa in philippines.

its so confusing for in china different cities had their own policies in procesing visas..like in the city that ive been they are inviting teachers from other countries as a tourist and then they can convert tourist to working visa..here in jiangsu once ur visa was tourist then theres no way u can get a working visa...

they said if ur holding a tourist visa upon entry to jiangsu and work they cant issue u a working visa my case is quiet different for my tourist visa was issued here in china without exiting philippines. I just need to extend my visa for me not to stay here illegally but like what the foreign affirs officers told us still its a tourist visa so theres no other way for me to get a working visa here without going back home.

now, i wanna know if im goin home how long would it take for me to process the working visa? how much would it cost?
medical? how long would it take? even though i had one here but it wont be honored.

It also strikes my attention for i had red one replies here that theres an instance that applying working visa in php theres a chance that u will be denied eventhough u got all the papers that they need and the reason behind it is that the teacher applying isnt a native speaker??? what???

well of course once ur applicaTION WAS DENIED theres no way u can get an explanation.

hope i can get a reply..

thanks

It will takes 4 working days to process your work visa. It will cost 1,400 pesos. You can take medical check within one day in a hospital accepted by the embassy. Yes, I also hear some some Filipinos are refused for their visa application. Now, there is no other choice, please have a try in Philippines. Good Luck!
