Wear summer clothes for it is still summer like. I think Oct-Nov is much better. It might hace thunder storm or typoon at that time, just might, and not definitely. Kowloon Hotel in nanthan road is a nice choice considering its location.

Besides of weather condition, there will be a large number of travllers swarming into HK in the first week of Oct, when is the National Holiday. You will find the hotels price is almost at the peak.

If you would like to do shopping, it is suggested that you come here in July or around the New Year's Day, both of which are grand sales season.

Thank you both Mr Sandy and Mr Sisley for your advise.Your comment about the Kowloon hotel is clear but the weather not so understandable. You think is better if I come to HK on the end of October first week of November? Shoping is not an issue, to see all the interested places and the city is my priority. So! to do that I need good weather. kind regards George

I think late October to early Nov is better. Much less rain.
