About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I am a nigerian and presently reside in the philippines . i have been to china for few times this year. i and my wife planned to visit china this december for sight seeing but to my surprise i was told that the philippine goverment has instructed the chinese consulate not to process nigerians passport holder from philippines and advise to go and apply from nigeria reasons not disclosed. its really hard and frustrating to go to nigeria to apply considering the ticket fare, documents(bank account being in philippines) and all other efforts that is needed to accomplish that . and if so what is the meaning been residence here in philippines is ? please is anyone aware of this decision and reasons behind it . and also what can i do to get to china since i dont want to go in nigeria to apply my visa

You can have a try to apply for Chinese visa in Hong Kong, but the certainty is not 100%. Please don't fell offend, I think that many Nigerians overstay in China and in Philippines, so the Filipino Government ask the Chinese consulate not to process the visa application from Nigerian citizens.
