Hi,I would like to go to Lijiang(Yunnan)from Chengdu,is any train from Chengdu to Lijiang..?If there is,I would like to know how long is take,and what is the price.?I would like to visit on Dec 7 and I would like to stay about 5 daysPlease I need some information...if anybodys can help me,I really appruciate it.Best regards,Susi

No, there is no direct train from Chengdu to Lijiang, but you can take flight instead. Or, you can take train to Panzhihua, and then take bus to Lijiang. But i think it would be a little bit troublesome, especially if you can not speak Chinese.

Lijiang only has trains to and from Dali. So if you want to go there from Chengdu, you have to get to Kumming firstly, then Dali, and finally Lijiang. You can tell how troublesome it is. SO why don't you choose a direct flight? That only takes a few hours. Well, if you also visit Kunming and Dali, it is OK to take trains.
