Techinically speaking, taxi is a good choice as these two places are not far from each other. However, the traffic jam is heavy on this route. You can take bus no.652 from the south square of Beijing South Station to Liujiayao. Afterwards, take subway line 5 to Yonghegong station, and transfer to subway line 2 to Xizhimen. Get out from Exit A and there is Beijing North Station. The whole journey takes about 50 minutes.
