About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi. How can I contact a personnel from the Consular Office? I am applying for a Chinese passport. I am a Chinese citizen but was born and raised in the Philippines. Have something to clarify about the requirements. Tried the numbers listed above but all I heard was a pre-recorded voice. TIA!

I'm afriad that you have to go to the consular office in the World Center in person. As I know, it is very hard to get through a telephone that is picked up by a consular officer.

Can't read Chinese. But thanks anyway. Just be posting my question here...

Will there be a chance of securing a Chinese passport without the parents' travel documents? Can't seem to find my dad's. He had passed away, twenty years ago. Mom, on the other hand, was born here and had not traveled overseas ever since.

You should provide the following documents to apply for Chinese passport:
1. one completed Passport/Travel Permit/Seafarer's Passport Application Form of PRC
2. three recent passport photos
3. original and copy of ACR and ICR
If you born in Philippines, you also should provide:
1. original Birth Certificate issued by NSO
2. original and copy of parents' passport and parents's residence permit in Philippines
3. Marriage certificate of your parents
4. school certificate
5. Your mother should write a declaration of permitting you to give up the nationality of Philippines

It is easy for a child born in Philippines to apply for Chinese passport, now it is hard for you to get a Chinese passport.
