About:

Hello - My family of 5 and I will arrive in Shanghai Pudong airport at 18:50 on Dec 9 2009 and we want to immediately take the T110 train departing at 22:04 from Shanghai to Beijing. We want to book the tickets online but the online service says we need to provide an address to which the tickets can be delivered. As we will just be arriving we have no China address. Can we book the tickets and just pick them up at the train station?

As I know you can pick them up at the train station 12 hours before the train's departure, but the office is only open from 8am-5pm. So, perhaps you shoudl entrust a ticket agent to buy for you and sent them to the train station when you get there.

I have just travelled from Shanghai to Ningbo, perhaps it would be better if you call a hotel near the station and ask them to book for you, tip travel 1st class well worth it and not that more expensive. Allow 40 minuets at the station before departure and follow signs for train number after that it is simple

Take the Maglev train when you arrive in Shanghai, well sighnposted at the Airport and cheap, it will take you to a local station where you can get Taxi to Shanghai South
