About:Shanghai Metro

hi, if i take subway line 2 and then change into another line in the interchange, should i buy the ticket again? or i could transfer between line without paying again? (like the subway system in beijing)

You should purchase a ticket including the fare for these two sections before taking subway Line 2. Just tell the ticket seller your final destination, and then she will tell you the exact sum.

You do not need to purchase another ticket when transferring lines.
