About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Hi,

I am Hong from Malaysia. Currently i am holding L visa with 6 months mnultiple entry with 30 days. My husband is holding F visa for half year time. I would like to get a china visa which can stay up to 90 days. What can i do ?

Ms. Hong, as far as I know, there are two options for you, first, when the 30 days stay duration is up, you exit China (go to Hong Kong or Macau) and then go back to China, you can stay for another 30 days, then you can exit again and reenter China for another 30 days. The other option is that you can go to the local public security office to apply for extension before the 30 days stay duration is up.

Thank you Mrs Lena. For the option 1, yes i did it for the last few months. For option 2, the staff have answer that they cant change the duration from 30 days to 90 days, but only can extend another month of visa after expiry of my visa.

Anyway, thanks for advice.
