Question

There are 4 people in  my group who plans to travel Tianjin to Harbin in early February. Do you recomend we take the overnight 16 hrs train that has a compartment for sleeping 4 people? Is it comfortable and are they punctual ? What can be done in this 16 hrs?

Compartment in Z trains and T trains is fine and comfortable. It is hard to say that it will not be late. Weather effects and generally Z trains are punctual. Usually, there are TV and radio on the compartment and have good sleep for the next day's trip. :-)
