About:MTR Bus, Hong Kong

I'm going to Hong Kong on 12 December and my flight will arrive quite late in the evening. I don't want to waste any time there so I was thinking of going sight-seeing somewhere near by. What time does the MTR stops? I've been trying to search for that information online but I can't find it anywhere.

Generally, the MTR stops around 24:30, some maybe a bit later. It is too late to do some sightseeing, I think.
