About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Does anyone know if the policy has changed with going the the Chinese embassy in Seoul to obtain a visa? I plan to visit China late December and would like to just go to the embassy and get one. Do I have to go through a travel agent?

Thanks in advance!

I think you still have to apply for the China visa through a travel agency if appying in Seoul.
