Hi, I'm currently in Yunnan for a 3 months study program. I have a Visa F with a single entry. I want to travel to Laos for a few days at the last month of my study. Must I get another visa once I leave china even if it's only for a few days? If so, can I get the visa at China-Laos border? I know there's a Chinese embassy at Vientiane but I don't think I will go there. I can make do with a tourist visa because I won't stay long in China after I come back here.Thanks, Melissa

Yes, you need to apply for a visa for your re-entry to China once you exit, but you are not able to get a visa at China-Laos border, you have to apply from the China Embassy in Vietnam.
