About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

its my first time to china with my family. we are going to shanghai and travel up to beijing via train. As such, i wonder whether we need any visas? Myself and husband are of the age of 30s and 40s, my sons at 10 and my daughter at 13years old. My sons, as they are boys, their passport expire on july 2010. Do we need to renew before the travel? our travel date is between 9 to 23 dec 2009. kindly advice. thank you.

Singaporean passport holders are exempt from visa to China for 15 days, so you don't need any visa.
Meanwhile, you don't need to renew your son's passports, their passports are still over 6 months valid when you travel.
