About:

Is it possible to buy train ticket and travel at the same day? Ill arrive to Shanghai on 5.11. and would like to go to Suzhou at the same day - doesnt matter what for class etc. Or would be easier to buy bus ticket? Whats cheaper? Thanx a lot!

Yes, you could purchase a train ticket to Suzhou at hte railway station on the spot. Please note that the train will leave from Shanghai Railway Station, and the bullet train just takes about 40 minutes as well as the others take 1~2 hours.

Thank you very much. One more question:)
Our plan is route Shanghai - Suzhou - (Nanjing) - Huangshan - Hangzhou - Shanghai. Do you think, could we have some troubles somewhere to buy train ticket for the same day? We have just 8 days for China and dont know, if Nanjing is so interesting like other places, should we visit this city? I appriciate every comment.

Time seems not enough for you, my suggestion: you should miss Nanjing. Suzhou seems better, personally I think. Classical private gardens, Guanqianjie for food and Zhouzhuang for water town are attractive. There may be some troubles on buying train ticket for the same day in weekends or holidays. You can consider to visit Shanghai for two days and buy ticket to Suzhou when you just arrive Shanghai. The same way to buy tickets in other places. In fact, you will just buy ticket from Shanghai to Suzhou and Hangzhou to Shanghai. You can buy the ticket for both in Shanghai in advance. These places are not far from each other, bus is also a good choice instead, and more flexible. Would like to help if you have other problems.
