i'll be travelling to shanghai for about 10 days to visit les roches hospitallity

I'll be travelling to Shanghai for about 10 days to visit Les Roches Hospitallity University. I can't speak Mandarin, where is a nice and convenient place to stay? The University located in Jin Jiang.  Anybody can give an idea? Also,I wanna have time to go around surrounding Shanghai, sight seeing, shopping a good quality but cheap price, see night life etc. Thanks before...

The university in far south suburbs of SHanghai, so it is not convenient for you to get around the city. How many times do you have to be free except for visiting the school. If you have to spend more time in school, suggest you choose to stay around it. There are SHanghai YIlidun Hotel, Rihai Hotel and huatian hotel just located near the compus. For shopping and nightlife, you should get to the city center to vist Xujiahui, Nanjing Road, Xintiandi and Huaihai Road.
