About:Shanghai Long-Distance Bus

Hi... My colleague and I want to go to Pudong specifically Nanjing this coming saturday. We are staying in Jiangyin City. Is there a bus travelling from Jiangyin to Pudong/Nanjing? How much will it cost? I believe taking a taxi will be very expensive. Hope you can help us. Thanks!

Pudong and Nanjing are totally two different places, pudong is a district in Shanghai, while Nanjing is in Jiangsu province. So where do you want to go first?

Oh. It's Nanjing Road we want to go for shopping. Saying Nanjing only is a different place - thanks for the clarification. So how do we get to nanjing road from Jiangyin City? And vice versa? Are the prices in Nanjing Road affordable for souvenirs/shopping? Thanks!

Firstly, you have to take a coach from Jiangyin to Shanghai. The journey is about one hour. The bus terminal is Shanghai Long-Distance General Bus Station, from where you could take the subway Line 1 to get to the People's Square. This square is just located in the Nanjing Road. Then, you could start shopping.

Along the Nanjing Road, both of the world branded goods in department stores and local cheap souvenirs in the small shops could be found. There are also several underground shopping plaza for a try. For extend, you could go to the Huaihai Road, where the locals do shopping mostly.
