About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I'm a permanent resident in the U.S. (technically still considered a Chinese citizen). Because I have left China for many years, I don't have the Chinese Resident document (Hukou). I'm thinking marry to a woman in my hometown, how do I get the Affidavit of Single Status in US? Please advise. Thank you.
