Best way to reach Jiangmen for foreign people is always the fast ferry from Hong Kong. It cost more but you arrive in good condition. The ferry leaves from Down Town Kowloon at china ferry terminal.There is a free bus going to Jiangmen down town from the ferry terminal. Just show them (in chinese) where you like to go and they take you there. If you go from Guangzhou there is busses that takes you to Jiangmen at the Airport. There is also busses from Hong Kong airport that is kind of nice.

The ferry ride cost 200 Hong Kong Dollar, about 30 USD. It takes 2.5 hours. Jiangmen is a great place for those who like to see what is going on in GuangDong, its a factory town, small but nice.There is really nothing to see in Jiangmen but two hours bussride towards Maccau there is a great spa, where you can check in and stay overnight, very nice and relaxing. Sanxian is the place and you can go from there by bus to Gongbei (Macau) and ferry back to Hong Kong. Local food is great to try, very few western resturants in JM. One is red garlic by the main Bank Of China. But that is pretty much the only one serving real western food. Pricy but good food.
