Hi, We arrive at Pudong terminal 1 at 7.10am and are staying at Howard Johnson Plaza  Hotel in Shanghai. Do we take the No 2 Shuttle bus to Jing'an Temple and then a taxi to our Hotel or is there a better way. We fly out of Pudong at 11.50pm Terminal 2 check in time 9.50pm - how long should we allow to get to the airport and do we take a taxi to the Temple and again take the bus 2 to the airport.

Well, this hotel is just about 500meters to the west of the Nanjing East Road of subway Line 2, so I think you could use the subway as many as possible.From Pudong to the Hotel: you could take the Maglev train to reach Longyang Road firstly. Here, you could transfer to subway Line 2 and then get off at Nanjing East Road. Take the Eixt 4, please walk along the Jiujiang Road, you will find the hotel in 10 minutes.Alternatively, you could take the shuttle bus (much cheaper) to the Jing'an Temple and then take the subway Line2 just right here. From the hotel to Pudong, if you use the first method, no more than one hour is required for you to arrive at the airport. The second one may take you longer time, may be about 1.5~2 hours.
