You could ask the Chinese university to check with the Municipal or Provincial Foreign Affairs Office in a local City or Province for how to apply for this form.

actually u shud ask the chinese professor to send u "the VISA TABLE" .. they call it commonly....or the visa letter. it is attested and sent by the foreign office of the university. u will have to make thm understand some how or the other....it is a Tablar sort of 1-page letter which indicated that what is the purpose of visit and how many days will u stay thr in china. and embassy requires only the ORIGINAL letter not the scanned copy.
