I'm from argentina. and I'm planning a trip to Asia but I'll be leaving from the US to Japan. and then I want to get to China via ferry from Osaka. Should I get the visa in the US or in Argentina? the thing is that I'll be working 6 months in the US. And one final question, I got a ticket from los angeles to tokyo but it has a stop in Taipei, Taiwan for about two hours, do I need a transit visa or not? thanks
