Hi, I am from Singapore and I would be visiting Jilin for the first time in Dec. I heard that it is real cold. What should I pack? I would be visiting by friend's family and staying with them. What is a good gift for his parents and grandparents? Please advise! Thanks!

Yes, it is very cold in winter. As the data of last years shows that the average temperature of Jilin Provine is -10C. You should bring the thickest clothes you have, wearing sweater, down coat, boots, scarf and gloves. As to the gift, bring something special in Singapore?!
