About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I will be flying in from USA to Pudong airport in the early morning, my next flight back home is 6hrs. Do I have to recheck my baggage or anything ? (will be taking both china eastern airline)...am I allowed to leave pudong airport or to a nearest hotel ?

I think you don't have to check you baggage again. Well, do not suggest that you leave the airport since you have to go throught Shanghai customs and immigration in this case.
