About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Dear Sir,

There is a Korean citizen with HK residence permit - who is suspect of a crime in Hong Kong. We know his HK ID number - but do not know his passport number. Will the China embassy be able to tell us the suspects passport number associated with the HK ID ? This will let us know if the suspect has left HK and come back to Korea.
