Your comment/question (Hi, I have a local driving licence in Singapore and would li...) on China Embassy in Singapore has been replied by Mrs. Madison at Sep. 29 2009 19:51:53.Hi, I couldnt find the reply to my query I sent so I apologise that I have to ask it again.I have a local driving licence in Singapore and would like to know what is the procedure to obtain a driving licence in China in particular Shanghai and Xiamen.Also, as a Singaporean, am I allowed to register for a company in China? Where can I get more information on this?Lastly, what are the procedures if I want to apply for a work permit in Xiamen?Thanks again.

You are allowed to register a company in China, you can get more information from the Industrial and Commercial Bureau where you will register. After you register your company, you can go to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to apply for work permit.
