About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Thank you for your reply Mr. Caspar. The problem is that my mom is scheduled to leave Sunday, 10/4/2009, which her application clearly stated. She is planning to return to the Consulate today to track down her application and passport in their office so she can get her visa to allow her to make her trip scheduled in 5 days. The pick up date of 10/7/2009 is too late to allow her to take the trip. Will the Consulate employees be able to efficiently help her with this problem?

I don't think the consulate can offer any help, and I'm afraid that your mother have to change her plan.

All is well. After two "not my problem" responses, the third clerk was very helpful. The Visa was ready-to-go in a very short period of time.
