Question

My mom visited Consulate today to secure visa for 10/4/09 trip.  The clerk offered Wednesday pick up time.  However, she discovered after arriving home the clerk was referring to Wednesday, 10/7/09.  Now that they have her passport in whatever piles might be in the back office, will she have trouble getting her visa before they close for the holiday 10/1/2009.
