About:China Tourist Visa

I wish to travel to china with a friend for 6 weeks purely for tourism. If I get this tourism visa will I be free to travel everywhere in China? Will I be able to return to China with a new visa at another time aswell?

yes, you can travel everywhere of main land China except Tibet where you will be required a Tibet travel permit as well.
You can return to China with a new visa again.
