About:

which train station should i go if i want to go to nanjing? Is it the shanghai railway or shanghai west railway? I'd be coming from pudong international airport. Are there trains leaving at 12 midnight because i arrive at the airport around 11pm. Thanks!

You should catch a train to Nanjing at Shanghai Railway Station. And, the last train to Nanjing leaves from Shanghai at 23:57. So, I don't think you wil have enough time to get to the railway station.

After 23:00, you have to hire a taxi from the Pudong Airport to Shanghai Railway Station. No shuttle bus any more. Then, you have to wait in the railway station for 3~4 hours beacause the first train going to Nanjing at 04:05. You may consider change your flight or stay over in Shanghai downtown.
