About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi

A friend of mine who is studying abroad in Japan wants to come visit me in China for a few weeks. I read that it is difficult for an American citizen to obtain a Chinese visa in Japan. Is that true, and if so why?

Maybe, but American citizens can apply for China visa in Japan, you can ask your Friend to have a try.
