Question

My wife and I would like to visit Jiuzhaigou, Leshan Giant Buddha, Mt. Emei and Panda Reserve and Yangtze River Cruise ( Chongqing to Yichang ). We will use Chengdu as our base. We plan to go in mid October 09.Could we visit these places by ourselves ( booking the flight, hotel is not a problem )? How difficult to go by ourselves unguided? Is there any local tour around Jiuzhaigou, Mt. Emei?The reason why we want to go ourselves, is because we can find friends to go with us and just the two of us is too expensive and I don't like just the two of us and a guide.
