About:Turkish Airlines

We are arriving in Huangshan airport around 10 pm. Can we get a taxi from the airport to our hotel at the foot of the Huangshan Mountain, Best Western Huangshan? How long is the ride and how much will it cost? Should we make advance taxi reservations? Can you provide a local taxi phone number? Thanks.

After 21:00, it is difficult to hire a taxi to Mt. Huangshan. So, you should stay in downtown area for one night. Or, reserve a cab in advance. The cab could take you to Mt. Huangshan in 2 hours and charge a fare of no less than 150RMB at night.

Thanks Mr. Merley. We were able to get a cab to take us to our hotel in at the foot of Huangshan. That was after a lot of arguments and negotiations - they charge you a flat rate - we ended up paying RMB250 from the original quote of RMBY300. It was not a pleasant negotiation experience and the people manning the taxi line were quite unprofessional.
