About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi,

My family and I are arriving from Hong Kong on Friday 9 October at 10.30 am on a Dragon Air flight. We are then flying out the same day to Auckland, New Zealand on an Air New Zealand flight that departs at 2.15 pm. I have a few questions please.

1. What are the arrival and transfer procedures please/
2. Do we need to fo through the customs and immigration procedures when we arrive from Hong Kong?
3. Do we need to get our bags and check in for the Air NZ flight?
4. Do we still need to go through the medical check when we arrive from Hong Kong even though we are flying straight out again?
5. Do you think there is enough time between our flights?

Thank you

If you hold connecting flight ticket, you don't have to go through customs, immigration and medical check at Pudong Airport. Your baggage will be transfered to the Air New Zealand from the Dragon Air automatically. And, the minimum connection time of transfer is just 30 minutes. So, you will have enough have to finish the procedure. Please just take it easy!

BTW, please refer to the transfer procedure in details at the above on this page.

Thank you Ms.Jenni. Our flights are two separate bookings and not on one ticket. Will this make a difference.

Thank you
