Hi, Id like to get some advice. I will be staying in Sofitel Hotel (Nanjing road east) and planning to take a one day tour to Hangzhou. A few questions that I have:1. Is it a good experience to use train ?.(I am referring with maglev experience).2. It it full or we can relax sit in an given seat number ?.3. Is it possible that I take only half part with train and the other part by bus. Which option is the best ?. (Train from Shanghai in the morning or take train from Hangzhou in late afternoon) ?. Considering that I can't read and speak mandarin.4. Is there any tour agent that I can join which have this kind of arrangement ?.(handle the tour in hangzhou and arrange the travel with train and bus ). Can you provide name and cost ???.Thank you

I recently travelled from SH to HZ by train this past June.  They offer two types of train service, Express and Local.  I would strongly recommend getting a reserve seat as the trip is about 75 minutes or so.  The cost is nominal - perhaps 70RMB.  I would not recommend bus.

You can have tour arrangemnts made from any major hotel in Shanghai - just go to the concierge.  There are standard tours to Suzhou and Hangzhou every day.
