About:Leshan Giant Buddha

Further to my first email, if I should stay over one night in order to visit both Leshan and Emeishan, which would be a better place to stay, Leshan or Emeishan, and do you have any reasonable (mid-range) hotel to recommend? Thank you very much.

Hi, half a day to visit Leshan is enough, but you need one day to visit Emeishan. So first you take a long distance bus from Chengdu to Leshan, visit Leshan, take a bus from Leshan to Emeishan, and spend one night in Emeishan, Emeishan Hongzhushan Hotel is recommended. The hotel is located beside the Emeishan Mountain gateway, close to the Baoguo Temple and only 9 km to the railway station. And the next day, you visit Emeishan, and return in the afternoon to Chengdu. Nice trip!
